I'm
concerned about buying online, especially
from overseas. How do I know that it is safe
to buy from you?
A: I understand perfectly well your concerns,
especially if it is the first time you deal
with someone. Please consider that people
who want to steal money usually sell one or
a bunch of very expensive items and then quickly
disappear, they do not set up an online store
with thousands of different (often cheap)
items. Such a store means investing money
in making the site and spending months and
months of hard work in taking pictures and
describing the items one by one. On top of
this I am not just a "virtual" seller
on Internet, you find my address, my VAT number
and the number of my work phone in the CONTACT
ME page, I'm easy to contact and to be verified.
Last but not least I am a long time collector
and a full time seller and I hope that browsing
my site you can see my love for toys and my
efforts to be as clear and as professional
as possible in my job :)

Why
don't you accept credit cards? Is it safe
to pay using my credit card through paypal?
A: Although personally I am convinced that
it is safe to use a credit card on Internet,
I chose not to deal directly with credit cards.
Using paypal you will not tell me your credit
card number, and all your data will be handled
only by paypal that is risk free. There are
over 70 million paypal accounts worldwide
now, it is truly a safe method for sending
payments. And no extra fees for the buyer!

Q:
Why
don't you accept instant payments in your
shopping cart?
A: I have recently added a shopping cart to
make things easier for the buyer, but I still
prefer to be able to double-check availability,
condition, and best shipping method in relation
to the destination and the size and weight
of the item(s) that are being purchased, and
this can't be done with an instant purchase.
I like to be in touch with the buyer, and
I believe that each sale is unique.

Q:
How
do I check the status of my order?
A: As I said one of my main goals is to be
constantly in touch with the buyer. I will
send you an e-mail as soon as I receive your
request, we'll agree on the order, then I'll
send you another e-mail when I get your payment
and another one when your package has been
sent (telling you approximate delivery time).
Up to now the postal service has proved to
be very efficient, but I do have the shipping
receipt in case there are delays or problems!

Are
the toys I see in the pictures the actual
ones I will receive?
A: YES, nearly always. I leave the same picture
only if the multiple I have available is not
significantly different from the item I have
just sold.

I
ordered an item, why do I still see it listed
on your website?
A: That's because I probably have multiples
(see above). On the contrary, if you order
an item that is the last or only available
one, please note that I will consider it on
hold for a week, but I will cancel it only
after it is paid for, to prevent having to
list it again in case the buyer does not pay.
I usually cancel the sold out items the day
I ship them, sometimes I cancel them the day
I receive the payment.

A: My prices are fixed, sorry.

Do
you have a wholesale section?
A: No I don't because I mostly sell old vintage
toys (which are sort of unique), and I rarely
have multiples.

Do
you buy or trade toys as well?
A: Yes I do, but please keep in mind that
this job is what I do for a living so I have
to earn something on each toy I buy or I trade
(also considering that I pay taxes on each
sale). I usually buy or trade the toys you
offer me for half of their current market
value, so if you agree to this go ahead and
send me a list!

How
often do you update the categories?
A: I try to update the site nearly every day.
Some categories are updated more often because
I manage to find some kind of toys more easily
than other ones. It is very random though,
I never know what I will be able to find before
finding it :-)

Where
can I see all the latest updates?
A: You can see the 8 latest additions in the
home
page, while in the
gallery
page you can see all the items that have been
added throughout the month.

Q:
Can
I ask you to look for a specific item for
me?
A: You can ask, but unless I can locate what
you are looking for very quickly (that is
to say in a few weeks) I will not keep looking
for it. If too much time has passed you might
have found what you are looking for by yourself,
or you might be not interested any more. And,
as I wrote above, I never know what I will
be able to find so unless I already know where
to get an item it might take really long or
be impossible for me to locate a specific
toy for you. Just have a look at my website
every now and then, all I have currently available
is listed there and sooner or later something
you are interested in hopefully will pop up!

Q:
Why
do you keep items on hold for one week only?
A: Because if you are willing to buy something
you should be prepared to pay for it very
quickly. I do not mean to sound harsh, but
considering that I do not have many multiples
I can't afford to keep an item on hold for
a long time because if at the end that item
is not paid for (unfortunately this does happen!)
I might have lost the chance to sell it to
someone else in the meanwhile.

Can
I use some of your pictures?
A: Sorry but you are not allowed to unless
you have my explicit permission. This material
is protected by worldwide copyright laws.
In partucular it is strictly forbidden to
use my pictures of the toys to make a profit
in compliance with the Italian Law on copyright
22 aprile 1941 n. 633.

I
wrote an e-mail to you but you have not replied
yet, why?
A: I always reply to all e-mails! I usually
reply the same day, seldom in two days, please
e-mail me again if you do not receive a reply
to your e-mail in three days and remember
that if there are problems with the e-mails
you can also call me on my mobile phone (international
prefix 0039) 349 288 2556, it will be on from
9 am to 5 pm (Mon-Fri) Italy time.
